Obama is putting a lot of surrogates out there on the campaign trail and on the talk shows. It’s working sometimes, not working other times.  Surrogates don’t always stay on script, and end up saying things they are not supposed to say. It must be easy to do, what with the press examining every single word with a fine tooth comb. I certainly wouldn’t want to be a surrogate for anyone, nor would I want to rely on someone to speak for me.  Maybe the wave of the future is robot political surrogates. Frightening.
