My FB is Better Than Your FB


Has it come to this?  We judge each other on how we edit our lives on Facebook? How many friends we have?  It could be worse…we could judge each other on what we wear.  We never do that.

For cartoonists, I venture to say that the internet is a way to feel connected, since so many of us work alone at home.  And I get cartoon ideas from the internet– everything is fair game. It is part of our world, of course, so is well worth making fun of.  Making fun of what it –the internet and technology–makes us do. Like this one below, from Cartoon Marriage,  the book I did with my New Yorker cartoonist husband, Michael Maslin: Or, this one that I did for my book Sex and Sensibility:



And of course, Twitter is so easy to make fun of. I love Twitter, don’t ask me why. This one below, and the first one, are from When Do They Serve The Wine?
