“Just when I was getting tired of wishing I could be Padma, I can now                             wish I was with Bourdain.”

The folks who produce Top Chef are smart.  I don’t know what the viewership of the show is, but I would imagine (correct me if I’m wrong)  it is mostly women. So for a few years now, we women have watched Padma with her sexy wit waltz around the show in  beautiful outfits and elegant carriage. That’s fine, I enjoy watching her. How could you not?  But the show just added a new element: Anthony Bourdain.  Not only is Anthony’s acerbic attitude extremely funny, his whole presence is oddly attractive. Just as we women are perhaps getting tired of watching Padma be beautiful, we now have Anthony to make us laugh and dream.  That’s not to say Tom Colicchio is chopped liver.  There is just something about Bourdain.
