It’s getting to be Marriage Season. Magazines erupt on the newsstand telling us how to get married. Newspapers feature happy unions. Invites flood the mailbox. Wedding websites pop up. It’s exhausting, and expensive. If you are attending, there is the gift. If you are IN the wedding, there is the dress (not to mention the emotional turmoil of having to wear a bridesmaid dress). What to buy, what to wear, who to take, how to act, how much to drink, how to dance, whether or not to even try to catch the bouquet. Very stressful times.
