Summer, Who Cares?

This is an example of a cartoon wherein the idea does not represent my personal attitude. I was asked recently if I put myself in my cartoons, to which I said, yes, and no. Everything I draw has some part of me in, it of course. Sometimes the cartoon is my opinion, sometimes it’s not.  I just look to make people laugh.

That said, I like summer, I really do. Heat and I don’t get along, but I welcome the slower pace. But I know some people HATE it, and I imagine they are all in a dark bar somewhere, waiting it out.

The one person not to be found taking refuge in the bar would be your very
own Mr. “Do Your Back”, who most certainly is doing whopping business
these days! (No doubt with a rate increase.)
