Occupy, and Make Uncomfortable, Wall Street

This is a cartoon about the 1% folks. It must be hard, coping with the responsibility of handling lots of money.  And, they now have to deal with the vaguely-organized attack from some of  the other 99%.  We’ll see if any of the Occupy Wall Street efforts ever manage to make a dent in the unbalanced system. At the very least, maybe OWS is making them a little uncomfortable. Or not.

  1. Rob Husberg says:

Liza, you are quite sneaky sometimes: you make us smile while handing us
something we’ve really got to think about. (As in your Halloween illustration.)
This has been a tricky post to reply to.
The OWS will only meet with success if there’s a corresponding EOP movement
(Evaluate Our Priorities). Values and ethics can’t be legislated. As long as hyper-
consumerism, hyper-competition, and maximum-profit thinking prevail, OWS will
just be a blip on the screen, and nothing will really change.
