The other day, I had (what I thought could be) a very important meeting with a woman of some renown. It turned out not to be such an important meeting after all. But it happened, and I got through it.

I had to find my “game face,” and I didn’t that day. And while nothing concrete came out of the meeting, I learned a lot. That practice, I think, is part of the process. So the meeting gave me something– read more on my Forbes column!!
